MISUMI presents 43rd ROBO-ONE Competition Rules Revision Notice (3)
2024-09-11
Revision 1.
5.1 Movement Method (c) states, "When moving, move with the robot's hands at least 50 mm away from the floor of the ring.
Revised to "When moving, keep your arms at least 50 mm away from the floor of the ring."
Reason: It is difficult for the referee to determine whether the robot is down, so move not only your hands but also your elbows at least 50 mm away from the floor.
Revision 2.
As stated in Explanation 2-3., walking three or more steps means walking three consecutive steps.
Reason: Clarified.
Revision 3.
in 10.5.4 OWAZA(h)
"However, you cannot use a successful move during ultimate time again."
In response to the opinion that it is not possible to determine whether an OWAZA was valid when participating in auto, the following item is added.
"When participating in auto, you can operate to tell the robot that it was valid. The operator raises his hand to the referee and requests to operate. The operation time is 10 seconds."
Reason: To accommodate auto
Revision 4. Explanation 25 Owaza/Forward Roll Crab Claw
"It is valid if the player's robot pinches the opponent with both feet while rotating 180 degrees and the opponent's upper body touches the ring."
"While your robot rotates 180 degrees, place the opponent's robot between both of your robot's legs, sandwiching the opponent and knocking them down. The Owaza is considered valid when the opponent's upper body touches the ring."
Changed to
"While your robot rotates from 180 degrees to 270 degrees, place the opponent's robot between both of your robot's legs, sandwiching the opponent and knocking them down. The Owaza is considered valid when the opponent's upper body touches the ring."
Reason: There was an error in the angle, so we will correct it.

MISUMI presents 43rd ROBO-ONE Competition Rules Revision Announcement(2)
2024-08-29
"Crouching movement" will be revised to "Crouching walking".
The reason for the revision is that it is difficult for the referee to judge the three-step movement when the crouching movement is small.
(Revision of Competition Rules)
(e) For the Owaza, it is excluded from the lateral attacks and sacrifice attacks. Crouching attacks are prohibited, but this does not apply if crouching movements are included during the attack. You may crouch and walk up to 3 steps just before the attack. In addition, lateral attacks, sacrifice attacks, and crouching in "Owaza" are not fouls even if they fail.
"Crouching walking" refers to "walking" as defined in 5.1(a) while crouching.
