Final announcement for all participants in MISUMI Presents 30th ROBO-ONE

-Venue will be opened at 8:30am for participants. Reception will be located at the entrance. All participants (all team members) must print out and bring their name plates. Participants who do not have a name plate will be required to pay the entrance fee.
-Participants should proceed to the waiting room (basement) to prepare their robots.
Participation screening will be done in order for participants who have finished competing in the heats. Please check your robot in advance. Measuring equipment will be prepared by the organizers. Screening will only be done for robots that walk within the set time, or robots that have arrived at the 5th or subsequent plate.

-Participants must attend the referee briefing on competition rules, safety and competition management in the waiting room from 9:30 onwards.

-The opening ceremony will be held from 10:00am. (The first 20 robots in the preliminary heats should wait in the waiting area next to the “preliminary heat lane” in the competition area.) Preliminary heats will be held in 2 lanes, and will be held in qualification order in the next available lane. To prevent mistakes, be sure to report the name of your robot to the referee before starting preparation.

-Completion of payment processing
After sending the competition fees via bank transfer, please login to your account and complete “Payment Processing”. Failure to do so may result in your payment not being processed.

-Printing of participation certificates
Each participant must print out and bring their participation certificate. You will be given a holder for this certificate at reception, which will then be used as a name plate. You can print these online by logging in to “My page” -> “Entry” -> “My Competitions” -> “Print Participation Certificate” .

-Competition proceedings
Participants who have early matches should participate in the opening ceremony with their robots. Matches will begin immediately after the opening ceremony.

-Ring
Preliminary heats will be held simultaneously in 2 rings (lanes) until the quarter finals. Bouts will take place in two rings until the quarter finals. Rings will be labelled A and B, please check beforehand which ring your bout will be held.

-Tournament
Bouts will be held in numerical order on the tournament sheet. However, please be sure to check the tournament sheet thoroughly as bouts in the B right start mid-way down the sheet.

-Rules
Please login and proceed to “Rules” in the “Competition Information” page to find details of the rules of this competition and a Q&A page. In particular, judges will be inspecting whether the foot angle of the robot is less than 90 degrees when walking during the early stages of the completion, so please be sure to set well within the rules to avoid disqualification.

-Each teame may use one chair in the waiting room (2 teams per table). Please consider others when using table space.

-Please bring your own power bars for use in preparing the robot. We recommend a power bar that has a long cable as the waiting room is quite large.

-Please bring your own lunch. Meals are not provided.

-Participants wishing to enter for the Misumi prize, please re-check the checklist.

-The stage-like area in the waiting room is out of bounds. In particular, do not attempt to test your robot or spar with others in this area.

-Do not operate your robot in areas other than the competition stage or waiting room, such as in corridors or other areas, as doing so is dangerous.

-Be particularly careful about battery management. A team member must be present at all times while a battery is charging, and battery chargers must be switched off if all team members need to leave the area.

-All batteries must be transported in a dedicated safety pack.
